Kwan Bin Park, violin; Kevin Krentz, cello; Tanya Stambuk, piano. This Seattle-based trio has emerged as one of the most recognized chamber ensembles in the Northwest, with a rapidly growing audience across the United States. Finisterra performs Daron Hagen’s Triple Concerto. Also featuring music by Mendelssohn and Bizet.

Stephen Beus returns to join the YSO in Edvard Grieg’s greatest hit, Piano Concerto in A-minor. Described by the Fort Worth Star Telegram as a pianist of “artistic instinct and natural charisma,” Stephen Beus is recognized as one of the most promising pianists of his generation. The evening opens with Brahms’s immortal Third Symphony.
